What an exciting honor to work on such an inspiring logo. Trinity Washington University has a wonderful program called Sower’s Seed in which they invite alumni back to lecture their current students to, as they put it, “a sense of commitment to serving God by responding to the problems and needs of the world.”
From Trinity’s website: “…the Sower’s Seed Lecture was established… to showcase the work of Trinity Washington University alumni who have contributed to the greater good of the world. These speakers in their own unique ways, have confronted issues of injustice and drawn on the values of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur to guide and inspire them to plant these seeds of social change. All have shared their stories with students sitting in the classrooms where they themselves once sat. The seeds are sown one more time.”
This program is fantastic because it proves to undergrads that they too can go forth and do magnificent things and that doing good in the world is the first step.
“ … some seed fell on good soil, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold.”
Luke 8:8
